Anyone who knows me personally knows that over the last several years I have managed the social media pages of top brands and celebrities across the country. While I a firm believer in allowing your network, work for you I can honestly admit that is not how I have landed  a lot of the opportunities that have been placed in front of me. Pitch Your Dream Clients

Believe it or not,  sometimes you have to bet on yourself that means not being afraid to pitch your dream clients. If your ideal client is on social media and you notice they aren’t active find a contact email or number for them and reach out to them to set up a call. Be prepared to show your portfolio and credentials to prove that you can do the work. Don’t be afraid to toot your own horn with the success you’ve had as well.

Craigslist

Yes! Craigslist. Believe it or not some of the best and top clients I have ever received actually posted blindly on Craigslist that they were in need of a social media manager. Was it luck for me? Absolutely but don’t sleep on the endless opportunities that can be found on Craigslist.

Use Social Media As Your Billboard

Don’t ever be afraid to toot your own horn. You never know who may be watching(including celebrities). If you have a chance to showcase your work, showcase your work. You will be surprised how many opportunities await you and your future.
